WiFi
The RC500 has 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi radios. Each can act as an access point so nearby devices can connect.
WiFi Settings
Section titled “WiFi Settings”Configure the main WiFi networks under Wireless - WiFi Settings.

| Enable | Turn a radio on or off |
| SSID | The network name devices see |
| Password | The network passphrase |
| Channel | Auto, or a fixed channel |
| TX power | Transmit power (10, 15, 20, or 23 dBm) |
| QR code | Generate a code phones can scan to join |
Join by QR code
Section titled “Join by QR code”The WiFi Settings page can generate a QR code for a radio. Compatible phones scan it to join without typing the password.
Guest WiFi
Section titled “Guest WiFi”Configure a separate guest network under Wireless - Guest WiFi. Guests get internet without joining your main network.

Using WiFi as an internet uplink
Section titled “Using WiFi as an internet uplink”The RC500 can also connect to another WiFi network and use it as an internet source, rather than serving its own. See Upstream WiFi.
