First dashboard health check
Use this check before you leave first setup. It confirms the router is not merely powered on, but actually reporting useful health information.
Who this is for
Section titled “Who this is for”Customer Owners, Admins, Members, and Viewers who can see Dashboard and Devices.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- A Telisky account for the correct organization or site.
- The router visible in Devices.
- A recent last-seen time from the router.
Time required
Section titled “Time required”About 5 minutes.
Check Dashboard
Section titled “Check Dashboard”- Open Dashboard.
- Look at the fleet status or reporting summary.
- Confirm the first router is counted as reporting, online, or recently seen.
- Check whether Dashboard shows attention items, open alerts, device errors, or failed jobs.
A new organization may have many empty dashboard cards. Empty is normal when you have only one router or no history yet. Attention items and failed jobs are the items to investigate.
Check Devices
Section titled “Check Devices”- Open Devices.
- Find the router.
- Confirm last seen is recent.
- Confirm the status matches what you expect after setup.
- Open the router detail page.
Check the router detail page
Section titled “Check the router detail page”Confirm these basics:
- The router name or label is the one you expected.
- The active internet path matches the installation plan, such as wired, cellular, or failover.
- Cellular signal is acceptable if the router uses cellular.
- Firmware version is visible.
- Recent jobs are not stuck or failed.
- There are no urgent alerts that need action before the site depends on the router.
Healthy first setup
Section titled “Healthy first setup”A first setup is healthy when:
- The router appears in the correct organization or site.
- It has a recent last-seen time.
- Dashboard does not show urgent attention for that router.
- No setup job is failed or stuck.
- Your team knows the router name or label to use when asking for help.
