Accept your invite
Account access is the first step before you confirm a router online. Most people use an invite email. If you are the first person setting up Telisky for your organization, Telisky may instead direct you to create the first owner account for the Telisky cloud portal.
Who this is for
Section titled “Who this is for”- The first customer Owner creating the organization account after Telisky tells them to begin setup.
- Anyone who received a Telisky invite email: Owner, Admin, Member, Viewer, or Installer.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- The invite email from Telisky or from someone in your organization, or first-owner setup instructions from Telisky.
- Access to the email inbox used for the account.
- A password you will use only for your Telisky account.
- Your organization or site name, so you can confirm you joined the right place.
Time required
Section titled “Time required”About 5 minutes if the invite or first-owner setup is ready.
First owner vs invite recipient
Section titled “First owner vs invite recipient”| Situation | What to do | What happens next |
|---|---|---|
| You are the first person setting up Telisky for your organization | Use the first-owner setup instructions from Telisky and create the owner account with your own email address. | You become the Owner for the organization in the Telisky cloud portal and can invite teammates after sign-in. |
| You received an invite email | Open the invite, confirm the organization or site name, and accept it with the email address shown in the invite. | You join with the role chosen by the person who invited you. |
| You are an installer | Use the installer invite or handoff link provided for the job. | You may land on a limited status-check page instead of the full Telisky cloud portal. |
The account you create here is for the Telisky cloud portal. It does not change the local password on the router.
Check your role before accepting
Section titled “Check your role before accepting”Read the role shown in the invite. It tells you what you can do after signing in:
| Role | What you can do | Where you usually land next | Ask for a different role if… |
|---|---|---|---|
| Owner | Manage the organization, team access, routers, billing, and account settings. | The full Telisky cloud portal. | You only need to monitor routers or help with one install. |
| Admin | Manage routers and day-to-day operations. | The full Telisky cloud portal. | You need billing or ownership settings, or you should only view status. |
| Member | Help operate routers and review activity. | The Telisky cloud portal with fewer account controls. | You need to invite people, manage billing, or change organization settings. |
| Viewer | See router status and reports without changing settings. | Read-only areas of the Telisky cloud portal. | You need to change router settings or run setup actions. |
| Installer | Confirm limited field setup status without seeing organization data. | A limited installer status-check page. | You need customer account access or ongoing fleet monitoring. |
If the role looks wrong, do not accept the invite just to get started. Ask the person who invited you to resend it with the right role.
Accept the invite
Section titled “Accept the invite”- Open the invite email.
- Confirm the organization or site name is the one you expect.
- Select Accept invite.
- Enter the requested profile details. If phone number is requested, use a number your team or Telisky can use during setup.
- Set your password if this is your first Telisky account. If you already have a Telisky account for that email address, sign in with your existing password.
- Sign in to cloud.telisky.com.
If the invite is missing or wrong
Section titled “If the invite is missing or wrong”| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| No invite email arrived | Check the inbox and spam folder for the exact email address your team gave Telisky. If it is still missing, ask an Owner, Admin, or Telisky contact to resend it. |
| The invite link is expired | Ask an Owner, Admin, or your Telisky contact to send a new invite. Do not forward old invite links to other people. |
| The email address is wrong | Ask for a new invite to the correct address. Do not accept the invite from a shared inbox or someone else’s mailbox. |
| The organization or site name is wrong | Stop and ask the sender to confirm the organization before accepting. |
| The role is wrong | Ask the sender to resend the invite with the right role. Use the role table above to explain what you need to do. |
If you land somewhere unexpected
Section titled “If you land somewhere unexpected”- Customer Owners, Admins, Members, and Viewers usually land in the Telisky cloud portal.
- Installers may land on a limited device status check page.
- If you see the wrong organization, no organization, or a role that does not match your job, stop and ask the person who invited you to confirm the invite.

- You know whether you are acting as a customer team member or installer.
